Advantage to 64 bit Vista?

I am looking at building a new system and looking forward, may eventually install Windows 7.

I have read posts here concerning many issues with 64 bitas opposed to 32 bit.

Can someone tell me briefly what the advantages to 64 bit may be? I will be installing Firefox, Microsoft Office and a photo editing program.

Truly, FF, Office and photo editing will probably not make a big difference either way.

+ Addresses more RAM, Drivers are MS certified, Will be the future

32bit pros uses less resources and disk space. finding drivers is somewhat easier, somewhat more stabile

cons--may be slower (depending on how you use it). Memory max 4gigs and most mobo's only use 3.3. 332 bit is an older system.

64bit pros-- memory 12 gigs is not uncomman, faster, and a newer system for the future.

If you do video editing alot, or image rendering (PS, bryce, etc) go for 64 bit.

If you infrequently do editing, want to save some money, 32 bit.

hope this helps
