Hi,
First of all i would like to apologize if this issue has been solved but I have been searching for months and have not found a solution that fits my situation.
I have a similar problem with my PC (which I purchased 3,4 months ago)
Here are the specs:
The freezes occur more when I am running VLC Media player, Warcraft3 or World of Warcraft (Which did not cause any problems on my previous dell XPS laptop which had lower specs than this PC) That is not to say the freezes don't occur while I'm just on the desktop with no apps running in the background, but they are more when I do run those applications.
I thought the issue may be with the graphic card not being able to handle the "3D" or any other applications so I reduced the quality / 3D settings but that also did not solve my problem.
The freezes last about 2 to 3 minutes each with everything freezing (Media player, VLC, etc...) However the mouse still moves around.
Does anyone know how I can go about finding out what the issue is and / or solving it?
I know I may need to give more details about my system so please if there is anything else let me know
Thank you in advance for your time
Shervin.-
