Changing the System Restore Date...?

In Vista Home Edition, in System Restore, does anyone know how to change the date that the system restores to from today's date to an earlier one?

Might try changing the date on the computer. why would you want to?

Not sure I understand the question.

Do you mean how do you select a restore point from an earlier period?

At the bottom it says show restore pts more than 5 days old.

If it only shows the restore pt made today - then that is the only one you have.

Hi if i understand your question what you need to do is:
go into your system restore and when it ask you were you would like to restore system just choose the earliest date available.

OR
if you have the system disk you can use them to restore to an earlier date. To do this put in the disk or cd....then restart you machine and then you can follow the instruction from there on.
