error loading operative system on Acer

Hi!
I bought an Acer Notebook Aspire 5546 for a couple of weeks ago and yesterday got this message when I tried to start up my computer:
"Error loading operative system..."

I tried with Alt+F10 and the computer seemed to be starting, the Windows files loading and after a while a message came up "Please wait a moment...". I waited for several hours nothing happened..

Please, help what should I do? I have not a restore disc or Vista cd... stupid enough...

And I reported to Acer but still didn't get any answers yet. The computer is still in warranty.

Since this is a relatively new laptop (only a couple of weeks old), it shouldn't really have this sort of problem. Check the manual to see if you can restore your laptop from the built-in recovery partition (you will need to press a sepcific key during POST). If you have success with this, then, before you install any other programs, create a system restore disk using the in-built utility (again refer to the manual for instructions on how to do this). If, despite trying that, your laptop still fails to operate properly then return it to where you bought it.
