I installed a game called Battle Forge and tried it out and eventually unintsalled it but this is just for informative purposes because that is when this problem started.
For example when you go into "my computer" where is shows all your drives my layout has always been the same since I installed Vista. Now I never know what layout I am going to see when I open any windows that has drives or folders and this includes the control panel. It's a total crap shoot...sometimes they are in a list, at time they are normal, sometimes huge, sometimes small. They are ever changing now and this is happeneing with all windows that have folders in them and the control panel even though it doesn't have folders. It is very annoying and even though I go through all the options I can never get it exactly back to the default, but sometimes close.
Any ideas on how I can reset all this back to default and get it to stop changing them eveytime I open these windows?
