Solved aero theme on windows vista home basic

everyone knows vista should have the aero theme, right? i don't. maybe it is the home basic os? i also saw on the taskbar properties that it says "show windows preview" and i have this box checked

and also no thumbnails, just the name of the window. (bottom right)

thanks for any help given
and i will help in return
getting those thumbnails will look a bit cooler than just "top sites" or a name a window.

start button > right click "computer" > should tell you which version at top of page. home basic does not have aero glass effect (you probably knew already)

lol i did know aero wasn't included - my thread post was sarcasm. Why doesn't the checked box work like it should? or is there anyway to download the/an aero theme from anywhere?

hey, why does it say my thread is solved? it isn't!
why does it not show thumbnails when i have the box checked?
that has nothin to do with no aero does it?
