I have had XP on my old pc for years with out it Freezes now I purchase a PC with vista I've only had it for a week and has already Freezes 5 times what give it I know it is not a virus and it is not my computer is too hot can you guys help

The entire computer freezes ? Just certain programs ? How soon after bootup does it freeze ?

Could be overheating or a loose cable. More likely over heating.
