I havent used my computer all summer and now that school has started up, I cannot remember my admin password. Is there anyway around the login so that I can avoid reformatting?

You mean you log in as admin all the time? not very secure. they make admin password access limited for just this reason. Do you know about the built in (hidden) admin account?
Our problem is if it isn't your account (how do we know if it is) by telling you how to circumvent it we would be doing something illegal.
We can certainly tell you how to create a non admin account, easily. do you have any idea what the password was?
