all it says cpuz is rev x.0 is there any other way of finding out what revsion my board is

well..... are you aware of your board having different revisions..??, or are you assuming that there were some..?? ;)

The fastest CPU that is listed for your board is the Phenom IIX4 965. You will need to ensure that your motherboard is revision 1.01G (or later). This should be silk-screened on the motherboard.
