Run utility gone

i need help. My run utility is gone, i mean really gone, not just lost within start menu, help any 1?

Run isn't on the start menu. Hit Win Key + R to bring it up if you have a win key. Otherwise right-click the taskbar, select properties, start menu tab and customize. Scroll down to locate the run command, check it if you want it, then select apply.

thanks frostmourne but it didn't work :s run just doesn't show up I've tried both methods but it still doesn't work could this be a virus of some sort??

Have a look here whether the shortcut still exists:
C:\Users\your name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories

Open task manager, click on new task in application tab. What happens?

yeh it exists but it says im restricted even though im on an admin account so prob virus? even tho im scanning my comp for a while tho

Hello Azure,

There is a Group Policy setting that will disable and prevent access to RUN. Since you have Vista Home Premium, you do not have the Group Policy feature, but the REG file download below will undo this policy for you after merging it. You may have to restart the computer afterwards to fully apply it. I would do a detailed malware and antivirus scan to be safe though.
