All Accounts = Guest

Hey there, I recently modified my SID for... educational purposes, and at the next reboot my normal account (Mosen) was a guest account; with all of my settings reset.

All of the files are still there, but all accounts now, even my administrator one is referred to as a 'Guest' account, and is not activated, as shown by the net users administrator command.

When I attempt to access a feature that requires an administrator password, the box comes up requesting a password; yet there is no entry field.

If there's anything I can do to get my accounts back, settings intact (or otherwise), please let me know!

Do a offline system restore at boot.

Boot from your vista installation disk and select repair>system restore.

The software came pre-installed with no disk, so I've no option to do it that way.
When I load system restore from the HP disk recovery centre at startup, I select System Restore, but it simply leaves the screen blank

Anything; as long as I get my files back!
