First to start off im rather new to vista and it's "Learning Curve" as some people call it
My school runs vista as there OS and now tightened the security
along with doing this they have blocked the --> Right click --> Run as Admin
and the right click in general to rename folders and shortcut's so on, So i can't right click on the desktop to make a new folder
How do i re-enable this process as it has been blocked by group policy..
After fiddling for an hour trying to figure out how to get it re-enabled i got annoyed and booted XP SP2 of my memory stick
If you are talking about netbooks - ? or a PC - ? then you shouldn't have a problem renaming files or shortcuts unless they are in system folders. Then you'll need a password or be an administrator. For your own user account you shouldn't have a problem. If the PC is a public terminal, then making a new folder at the desktop shouldn't be a problem unless security has been upped to strangulation point.
