I have used the Copy Good DVD Files To Replace Corrupt OS Files
Published by uvbogden
08-22-2007 to access sfc /scannow corrupt files. Everything worked fine accept when I went to copy the corrupt file from the mounted oem disk to the window\system32 directory I get you need permission to continue.
I use windows explorer (admin permission) and cmd prompt (user permission), I tried to copy directly from the oem disk to the system directory. didn't work, copied the file to the desktop which worked fine, however when I copied it fromt the desktip to the system directory it didn't work. What is the permission required message I get related to. I thought running as Adm would allow me to do the task but not so. Anyone, I need some insight on how to proceed.
