as title says vista wont see my HD... says i need to install drivers.. i have 1 750gb hdd had this problem back when i built it too i believe but cant remember how i got around it.. the HDD im trying to format now "have the disc that came with the hdd drivers NOT on that according to vista" is the ST31000528A5 drive.. iv tried everything when it boots it sees it connected in the sata slot x when vista comes to install it wont see my active 720 hd or my 1tb HD says i need to load drivers my mobo is the evga 790i, this is VERY frusterating
The whole reason i got the new HD is because my computer freezes after about 6 min every single time.. running 6600cpu 790i mobo 2 9800gtx sli not sure wha the problem is! anyhelp would be apreciated, cant seem to find the driver for the ST31000528a5 either, so now im stuck anyone have tips? getting to the point where i just may buy a prebuild POS rather than build a new PC this stress isnt worth it
