Hi all,
I have just received a new notebook, built by AVADirect (have never had a problem in the past), about a week ago. Every once in a while, with no exact cause that I can determine, the screen goes to a multi-colored static. There are no error messages, cannot see the pointer, and basically have to manually shutdown the computer. One time a loud screech came out of the speakers also. I have downloaded a driver that AVA recommended at
