Icon Wont align To Grid

I have align the grid checked when i right click on desktop and go to view then align to grid but when i move them they dont align the icons just stay where ever i move them

Hello Fus1on, and welcome to Vista Forums.

Align to Grid will still let you drop it anywhere you like them, but just doesn't allow you to overlap icons by keeping them in the grid at the location you dropped it. You might see if Auto Arrange may work better for you, or toggle it on and off to see it will allow Align to Grid to work properly.
