I have had my computer for about 3 weeks now and have been using WMP11 w/o a problem ripping music to folders. Yesterday i did 10 cd's and then put one in and now will no longer recognize album, artist, or title, just numbers. Any ideas? Thanks

Also, are the files you ripped .cd files. Those are metadata not audio.

No I am downloading my cd collection. I am doing mp 3 files and storing them all on a potable hard drive.

Doesn't show album, artist, or title. Do they play?
Might need to find a third party application that preserves title, tags etc. during mp3 conversion.

Yes music plays fine! Just can't add music as I don't know who it is. What is puzzling is that it has worked fine for 3 weeks and now all of a sudden it has stopped. I have downloaded at least 50 cd's.
