At the present moment I'm dual booting Vista Business(x64) and XP Pro(32-bit) on my main notebook. I just ordered a new notebook which provides the option to pull out the optical drive and run a secondary HDD in either JBOD or RAID-0/1.
I'd like to move to a RAID-0 for increased performance but I'm unsure if this is possible using the Vista Backup Restore process. If I setup the array first(with a fresh install of Vista Business x64), then initiate the Vista restore process, when and how would I install/integrate the RAID/Storage driver? Would I have to install the driver on both OS's?
I've customized the h*ll out of each OS and I'm not interested in starting from scratch(the way I've setup other RAID Arrays).
