Solved Arrow key function in folders

Hi, I am so annoyed at the current way left/right arrow keys work in folders. When I have one open and want to browse through it moving from file to file using the left arrow, I have to press the down arrow at each row end instead of the left arrow just moving to the next line. Is there anything I can do to change that? Thanks

Hello Tatsudoshi,

Could you post a screenshot of this to help get a better idea of your situation?

Using View (menu bar) and List folder view to sort through the files easier like that.

Hi Brink, thanks for the suggestion. I am looking for a way where I do not have to change my folder settings.

Unfortunately, the focus will not automatically go down to the next row of files when you get to the end of one row without pressing the down arrow in Vista no matter what folder view you are using.

However, you may be happy to know that you can in Windows 7 though.

Ah thanks. I am also only waiting for the win7eu edition ...and my wallet to get a bit fatter then I am all vista-out
