While I type on my New Inspiron-Vista Premium laptop, ever button that also has an ALT command attached to it opens randomly. This is literally my third time typing this paragraph and prompts continually open and new windows keep popping up. I haven't hit ALT once yet, and have all of my Sticky Key options turned off. What can I do. This is for my work computer and instead of typing reports right now I'm research how to make this thing do what's supposed to. Notice that italicized? I didn't do that, hit CTRL or even hit ALT, it just happened. Please help. I am going crazy with this thing.

Maybe it's just the keyboard that is faulty?
hmm, check that, if I read your message carefully, the italics started at "what's". I would have thought you wanted to say "what it's..." but the "it" isn't in there - did you type it? If so the "it" made the keyboard go ITALIC? Is there perhaps a clue in there?
