So here's where I stand at the moment...
I use Vista Home Premium 32-bit sp2. It has crashed, and its not loading in any mode other than safe mode. I do NOT have a recovery partition. Nor do I have the recovery disks. Further, my cd drive is not working. System restore and most of the other general options to restore my computer are not working. So, the only option left for me is to boot from a USB.
I have access to another computer, which has Windows XP sp2. I also have download the iso image of the vista recovery disk. So i have the material and everything. Now I need to make my USB bootable. I have read through many tutorials on how to do this on Vista, but it seems impossible in XP. They all give links to some software (which i would prefer not using) all of which don't exist anymore(the links, i mean)
So, please please give a tutorial on how to make a bootable vista recovery USB drive on XP??
or if u have any other solution, please go ahead...
Thanks,
Prahar
