OS: Vista Home Premium 32bit
Laptop: HP Pavilion dv9319us
This model of laptop has a bay for an extra on-board HD and I have one installed. This is where I keep my Documents and personal folders and my Japanese VM. I sent my laptop to HP for a repair and took my extra drive out. They repaired my laptop and had to reinstall Vista.
I put my second drive back- but now everything is set to read-only and I cannot change it. Here is a list of what I have done so far:
logged in as administrator and changed permissions.
changed the owner to myself
I did this for the entire drive then tried to change the read only to Off- and it seems to work- but when I check again- it is reset to read only.
I am unable to work on any of my documents or make changes to anything. I can save new items- but I need access to my work!
Please help!
Thanks!
Jo
