Hi guys,
Here is my specs,
Amd X2 6000
Asus M3A mainboard
Ati 4850 vid-card
2 36 gig Raptor drives
8 gig of mushkin ram
I have had vista home premium 64 bit running for about 7 0r 8 months straight no problems until i reformatted a couple of days ago to install windows 7 ultimate 64.
Also i was running a raid 0 setup.Windows 7 installed great no problems until about an hour or so when i came back to my PC my screen was black with the following boot\bcd error,000000f and also 0xc0000225 which came later on.So it tells me to load system recovery and repair from windows dvd to fix errors and it never does, tried half a dozen times.
So i gave up on windows 7 thinking something is not compatible with my hardware.
So now go back to vista 64bit which i was running with no problems and im getting the same thing happening. After a few installs i give up and switch my drives from raid0 to 2 single drives. Now im using windows 7 on a single drive and running EasyBCD software which is good because i can now recover from that error. Now i get these BSOD and have to go through the start windows normally or safe mode and other options before i get to my desk top.
Man if i have to resort back windows xp ill lose it,lol.Bios is updated, all my hardware is within a year old, except my drives are a couple of years old.
Sorry if this is a little long and winded, but if anyone has ideas what the problem could be i would much appreciate it,thanks dan.
