Not sure this is the right place, but I hope so.
I cannot open any ttf.
I get the message that windows wants to know what program has created it.
I don't understand why this is happening.

In
Default Programs, double check to see if the
ttf file extension is set with
Windows Font Viewer as it's current default program.

ttc has TrueType Collection Font File and then Windows Font Viewer

Umm, ok. See if you can right click on the ttf file and click on Open With, then select Windows Font Viewer instead.
