Vista Administrator Password help???

Hi,
I seem to obtained a virus 'PCentre' disguising itself as a virus scanning software but it won't even let me log into my account.
Unfortunatley I have important documents on my profile (haven't backed up like a fool) that I need so a re-installation of Vista isn't an option.

I'm running Vista Basic on the laptop and the only way in is through a user account. I've tried to un install the software but I'm being asked for the administrator password...
I don't remember setting one up but obvioulsy I did though it won't take any of the passwords I would have used. The laptop is not set up with user passwords to enter accounts as I didn't set any security up.

I have downloaded Ophcrack but that just seems to be two folders with random files in it, can't see how to make a boootable CD from it and all other software requires installation which I can't do without Adminstrative access which is what Im trying to get arround... I'm goind around in circles...

How can I crack the password or get to my files???? Please help.

Have you tried going to safe mode with Networking, updating and running your Anti Malware there?

I run MalwareBytes and it does a good job for me... if you don't have an app for malware, your should give it a try.
