annoying problem with Vista

Hello Pro's!!!

I was the proud owner of a Dell Precision M4400 with Vista Business 32bit edition.

I still have it, but im diffently not proud of it anymore. :mad:

Many times during the day i get frequent errors popping up on my screen:

"Windows audio has stopped working"
"Windows evnet log has stopped working"
"DHCP client has stopped working"
"Security Center has stopped working"

They appear most of the times when im working with Windows Live Messenger and Itunes.

I kinda have a feeling it has something to do with windows defender, since i've reinstalled my computer 3 times now and after I get the latest Defender updates the problems start to happen. But im no pro so is just a wind guess :)

Hopefulle a bright mind in here will be able to help!

have you tried to roll back your machine to just before that update and see if it still does it? and if it does not do it after you roll back than you know that is the problem

Rolling back your machine (or reinstalling from a backup disc) should work as far as getting you back to a condition where things should work (assuming they did before).
