Windows photo gallery -deleted photos HELP!!

Windows Photo Gallery.

HELP!!!

I was putting some photos in my gallery and suddenly ALL my photos have disappered my WHOLE collection has gone. Where has it gone-have I somehow deleted my whole collection???

What can I do???

check your recycle bin. if they are there just highlight the whole group right click and select restore to original location.

Thanks. I have tried that and no luck. The recycle bin is the one on my desktop, is there one attached or solely for Windows Photo gallery? If so how do I access it?What have I done wrong, there was no message saying I was going to delete it all just disappeared. HELP!

go to the start menu and type .JPG then if nothing shows do an advanced search. when they show (if) right click to find the folder the are in. It's hard to loose something in vista it always asks for conformation on everything.

Seen similar issues in other threads. It has sometimes been that the lost items have become hidden. Then it may me possible to see them again by showing hidden items as described in this tutorial.
