Contact administrator!? I am the administrator!

This is a wierd problem. I just created a new user account, ( for my girlfriend because she messes everything up ) and now when I try to save something to a public file or the c: drive I get a message that pops up something like:

"You do not have permission to save to this location, contact administrator to obtain permission"

All well and good right? Wrong. I am the administrator and now it's really frustrating me to say the least. I can't figure out why it's doing this and I need help!

Hello Evstar20,

Is the new account that you created a Standard or administrator account?

If you are trying to save something directly from the internet to those location, then Vista will not let you since those are considered protected system folders. Instead, you will need to save it to the desktop or a one of your user folders, then you can copy or move it to one of those locations.
