Avira notification icon problem

just a quick question
i downloaded avira anti virus program 6 month trial and it lets me hide it in the taskbar (the icon) but when i reboot its not hidden any suggestions

its justr an annoyance cos i like a clean looking desktop

Normally that would work for most programs, but because of the type of program it is, it will always reload like that. You might check in the program's settings instead to see if there may be a option to turn off or remove the notification tray icon.
