I found an old thread about this but I couldn't reply to it so I will make a new one. I know I recently upgraded to Dreamscene and I was very happy with it but now I have this problem where everytime I start or restart Vista, once I am at the desktop, I get the error and all I get is a Black screen.
Now, don't get me wrong, this is not a big deal, all I gotta do is go back to Personalize and use dreamscene again and the problem goes away but, this also happens on my wife's login and I know she'll be calling me everytime and well... that ruins everything
I do want to know why this is happening though.
Twice now, and I don't know whether this happened because of dreamscene or an isolated problem but, i got a BSOD, computer restarted and it gave me a "Bios Rom Checksum, KB error or no KB present. Detecting Floppy Drive A, Drive A error - system halt". Unfortunately I had the "Automatic Start" checked so I couldn't see much or even write down the whole error or problem.
I did see something about an Nv something error which makes me think that this is a driver error but, I am up to date with all my drivers so this one has me puzzled.
If I can't find an answer for it, is there an easy way to uninstall DreamScene? I don't want it if it doesn't work on my rig.
