Problem with on screen keyboard

I have a problem with the on screen keyboard on the login screen. I have recently bought a wacom bamboo for my pc. When I use my bamboo to type in my login password. After typing about 2 letters using the pen the cursor freezes for a while then it comes back functioning. Put when I put the cursor over the on screen keyboard again it disappears and I can't see where the cursor is to type my password.

this could be a longshot and a waste of time ha ha but if you goto control panel and mouse then pointer options theres an option show location of cursor when i press ctrl key you could try enabling that and an option you can uncheck which is "hide when i am typing" i think thats what it says :P
