I just recently built a new comp. When I try going into sleep mode, it seems to shut down but the fans and lights are still on. I move the mouse and it "wakes up". It's more like it's sleep walking than anything else. So I go into the bios and change it from S1 to S3 and try it. It successfully goes to sleep but then there's another problem, it won't wake up. I tried it three times and it fails to wake up every time. I went into the event logger and it said there was a critical error and that it has something to do with my video card.
So my video card is preventing it from waking up properly? I'm using an ATI Radeon HD4830 with catalyst drivers 9.2. Anyone have any clue as to what I can do to fix this?
