Must be somewhere in the beginning of 2010. No way it will be delivered in 2009 as MS will plan to offer vista sp 2 this year.

oooooooooooooooo I want windows 7 so bad from like gateway or HP in an hour.
I'm afraid to buy a rig unles it's from the above.

I got a laptop from gateway 9/2008 and they sent me 3 DVD's to reinstall ( when it goes over the rainbow )
I don't understand; if I build my own machine, will I be able to reinstall anytime I want?

I have been wanting to build my own rig for years but I took a class that gave direction to do it yourself and after $616 the machine would not work and I had to pay another $260 for the OS. ( BIOS, hardware, setup. etc not included ) it's a florida thing I guess.
Sorry friends---- I hate florida


So I wait for a way to get Win 7

Just download and use the Windows 7 RC from Microsoft on 5th May, it will work for 12 months, that should give you time to save some $$$ for Win7

Will MS provide regular updates with RC for whole 1 year?
