I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit. This is a first time post so let me know if I am missing any crucial info.
I have been having a problem launching my communication manager for my Sierra Wireless air card. The error is Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error!
Program C:|Program Files (x86) AT&T\CommunicationManager|ATTCM.exe
This app has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the support team ...
Steps I took:
Uninstalled ATT software and reinstalled twice (second time called ATT support and they could not solve the problem). I still get the runtime error when I try to launch the application.
I spoke to Dell technical support who had me run a few tests checking on my Chipset drivers (?) but with no luck. They told me I needed to run a PC restore which I really only want to do as a last resort.
If there is any help or suggestions out there I would be most grateful.
Kristin
