back up files error 0x80070005

Hi, When tried to backup my file it gets to the end then gives me the message access denied: error 0x80070005. I have bought several software programs claiming to remove this virus, but as of yet, guess what....it hasn't fixed it. Any help I can get would be great, however, i can't spend anymore money on software. I am already running, Blink eeye, regcure and spynomore. None have done the trick. I have also done 3 system restores when several days ago I received the blue screen of death and fixed it. What else can I do? I have Windows Vista home edition 32 bit.

There are a couple of conflicting bits of info on google,

The error is access denied.

Have a look in your error logs to see what file is causing the error.
Are you running the backup program with full rights. Are you running it on the administrator account?

For the last couple days I have tried to backup my laptop to a network external drive. The first problem I encountered was Windows Vista Backup requiring a User Name and a Password. The solution I found to that problem was to set up the network external drive sharing to Everyone have full rights. Then when asked for a User Name I used Everyone, for the Password it did not seem to matter what was used. The second problem encoutered was Access Denied Error 0x80070005. The solution I discovered to this error message was to make a new folder on the external network drive named Laptop Backup. I then set the path for backing up the laptop on the network to this folder on the network external drive. The backup worked and the error was not encountered.
