hi can anybody advise, i cannot get into system recovery by tapping f11 on restart i have vista 32 bit system,is there an alternative way to access system recovery i would appreciate any help thank you,

Basically, you should be using F8 and not F11. Is there any particular problem that you're having that we could help with?

thank you dwarf for taking the time to try and help i tried f8 and that did not work either,but brink you came through for me again,i did have the recovery discs which i made when i first bought the computer microsoft advised to make the discs as a one time thing and i did what you said installed #1 disc in drive then restarted the computer and then just followed the on screen instructions, i would of replied sooner but have been busy reloading files and programs, i again thank you and appreciate the time and effort you put into the forums....patch41
