Add items to Open With.

A small thing that seems unnecessarily difficult to accomplish:
How do I get some choices in "Open With" when I right click on a zip file?

For example, right click on jpg file.

"Open With ►" appears
There are choices such as IE, Paint, Photo Gallery
Right click for rtf gives options to open with MS Word or WordPad.

Now, right clicking on zip file.

"Open With... "appears
No choices.


Searching Google gives me results relating to the Control Panel, to use Nirsoft "OpenWithView" and posts about "Open with Notepad."

None of the Vista Control Panel dialogs will give me a result and the program from Nirsoft does nothing.
I can choose Open With and then choose, for example, WinRAR from the recommended Programs list but it is still not added as an Open With choice.

Thanks Dwarf, however as I had stated, those Control Panel options do not accomplish what I desire.

To clarify, when opening a file with a new item, usually that item is added to the Open With list.
But for some reason, when I do this for zip files, the list remains empty and there are no choices to open the zip file with another program.

Is it possible to manually add these items since conventional methods are proving to be ineffective?
