Hello!
We just recently bought our first Laptop/Notebook...I still do not know the difference yet.
I downloaded Windows Vista Upgrade Adviser and it said under Device Details:
Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family Intel Corporation
This device will not work in Windows Vista. For more information, please go to the device manufacturer's website, Windows Marketplace, or contact your retailer.
I contacted the Manufacturer, and he said to update the BIOS, and if that doesn't work do a full system recovery. The Notebook is less then a week out of the box and we are not gamers.
I did the BIOS upgrade, the usual cleaning and unchecked many items on start up and I still have to defrag every night. It is very slow to download and the performance degrades as the day goes on.
I am wondering if the Message on Windows Vista Upgrade Adviser is a concern.
I noticed when it told me to update other things and I did, it never showed that I did, after I uninstalled/reinstalled the program.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
