No space to partition?

Hello all! I am sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I just need help making a partition. I go through the normal steps and all, then I get the normal error saying that disabling pagefiles and snapshots will help. BUT the space available for shrinking is ZERO!! I have NO idea how to help/solve this problem, but I do know that it is preventing me from using the Windows 7 Beta . I don't know what' going on, as there is well over 100 GB of space available on the drive.
