Ok this started about 2 weeks ago. When I create a new folder within my docs folder(or any for that matter) I can type in the new name but when enter is pressed, the file title returns to "New Folder." When I attemp to rename it I can once again type the new title but it again returns to "New Folder" once enter is pressed. I have tried the "cannot rename/move fix"/registry fix as well, but no change. I really would rather not reinstall vista(again).

try making a New folder and renaming it on the desktop then click drag or cut paste whatever into the dosc folder?? worked for me when i ahd that problem??
