HKcmd exe Bad Image

Hello Everyone,

I have a problem that I need help with. I have a red Inspiron 1525 and it is only 2 months old. I just started really using it three weeks ago. Tonight I downloaded Spybot 1.6 and it loaded successfully. It found no virus. But the minute I tried to immnize it a message came up saying I have no administrative rights and that the UAC was enabled. So, I turned off the UAC to enable the immnization and it was able to do what it needed to do. Then I proceeded to turn back on the UAC and then restart my computer. All of a sudden this message came up:

HKcmd exe Bad Image
C?Windows/System 32/igfxres.dll
igfxtray/windows:igfxtray exe. Bad Image

Can someone explain this to me:confused:

Hello Blessedchild, and welcome to Vista Forums.

To fix the the Spybot S&D issue, you can use Compatibility Mode with only the Run this program as an administrator box checked. This will give the program the full permission it needs to run everything properly.

The error you got is associated with your Intel integrated graphics driver. You can try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for it to see if that can clear the error for you.
