Problem with Personalization page

When I right click on the desktop or go to control panel and click personalize to change my color scheme, I get an error message that states "The page failed to load." Anyone know a fix for this? Has anyone had this problem before? I attached a screenshot if it helps.

Same thing happened in Guest acct and another user acct. The scan didn't yield any results either. I guess it's not a quick fix....

Log into the Built in Administrator account, and run it from there.

P.S. Before you try the reinstall, try the repair first.

Hi,

Go to the followinh link PC Help Headquarters - QUTIL.DLL - FREE DLL Downloads and download the qutil.dll file and overwrite the file with u existing. Usually the qutil.dll file will be located in ur system32 folder.

Let me know the result

Be careful downloading any system files like that. Also, beware: It has to be the exact right version for your PC or it will seroiusly mess it up!

I recommend doing a repair BEFORE you try this!

Thanks for all the responses and ideas guys. The paged still didn't load in the built-in Administrator acct, so now I'm going to try the repair. I'll keep you updated.
