Vista Business takes too long to shutdown

I have loaded Vista Business on my laptop ( Sony Vaio VGN-Z13GN which hsa core 2 duo processor with a speed of 2.53 Ghz and Ram of 4 Gb RAM and 320 Gb Hard disk ).

The laptop takes a lot of time to shutdown.
Could some one help me out in this thing.

I have Vista Home Premium on a Dell Inspiron 6400.

I used Brink's tip, and reduced my shutdown time from 50 seconds to 20 seconds

BTW: Some of the reduction could be due to Brink's other tutorial, which improves Vista performance. For example, disabling the purging of the paging file:

This could be because you have the Paging File set to erase itself when you shutdown.
