Well, in an effort to get my notebook PC to boot facter (it was originally at a 230+ second reboot), I've followed many of the toturials on this site. However, there's one thing that I don't understand. As I boot up my computer I'll get the OEM logo, then the boot screen (the bar normally, but in my case a picture since I checked "no GUI boot") and for whatever reason a 20-30 second blackscreen with a cursor on it which dissapears before the vista orb pops up and then the login screen. I've kind of assumed for a while that this might be TMM running. Problem is, I've had it disabled for quite some time, and when I re-enable it my boot times don't change.
So, what's going on?
