2 stupid toolbar questions

These are probably stupid questions but haven't been able to find the answers myself so figure I might as well ask.

First off How do I turn on/off the taskbar Volume control icon? My system has an X-Fi chipset and right now I have 2 volum controls, the windows one and one specific to the X-Fi and really only need one.

and 2nd Is there a way to display the address bar without a title? I couldn't find any sort of option to turn off the lable.

If you want disable Volume Control Icon from your motherboard and leave only system Volume Control Icon I suggest try to disable some things from startup by using msconfig (see point 7 this tutorial http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/79612-startup-programs-enable-disable.html )

For the volume icon:
- Right-click the taskbar, go to Properties
- On the Notification Area tab, un-check the Volume one
- Gone :)
