Solved Vista Ultimate no Aero?

My system is:
E5200 @ 3.0Ghz
9800GT
2GB RAM

yet i cant use aero even if i check color and appearance there is only vista basic... need help..

if not SEE HERE ..... select your card, D/L & install.

theres no other program running.. even just after startup theres no aero...

Have you updated your WEI score? This will sometimes cause this if it has not been ran yet.

aero wont have a prob with 5.9 since its perfect for vista and i get a 7.9 with windows 7 which i can use aero..

"Desktop Window Manager Session Manager" service must run as well I think.

If nothing helps you might have same problem as the one I battled recently. Turned out UtipU a screencapture program installs a Mirage Mirror driver which somehow manage to disable Aero. Had vanished completely. If I remember correctly the "Enable desktop composition" was not even there. Only way to enable was uninstall of UtipU, then all went back to normal.

UtipU not the only program using Mirrage driver. Actually I think it was a beta installation but could be relevant. The idea I guess is to use "Basic" while recording, then return to Aero. Like remote programs does it - must be but not how it worked.

how do i know if theres a UtipU installed on my system?
