Recent Items List - Unremovable Files!

Hi,

Two files in the start menu's recent items list refuse to be deleted! Whenever I try to do so (by either directly clicking on the files themselves, or by right-clicking on the recent items tab and then the clear recent items option), a box turns up which says Windows Explorer has stopped working, and is checking for a solution, and then Explorer restarts.

Any help with this niggling issue extremely appreciated!

Try clearing all your temp fies with something like CCleaner, and try what it says in Brinks tutorial. You might also run SFC/scannow in case any system files may be corrupted.
