Screensaver extending?

Is it possible to extend the time a screensaver shows, I know the default is 20 minutes, less the time set for close, it could be a registry adjust possibly.

Any ideas.?

Hello Wysisyg,

If you mean how long the screen saver shows until the computer goes into a sleep mode or the display turns off, then you can adjust the Power Plan settings for how long you want until Sleep or Display turns off in METHOD TWO below.

Yeah, because as I don't use any sleep modes/display shut off, my screensaver stays on indefinitely until I return to the desktop.

I don't want it on indefinitely just to extend the 20 minute default, and still retain close options.

Not really, I know about all the power and display settings, its actually extending the default time of 20 mins

No thats wait time, its the length of time that the screensaver shows. ie 20 mins, 30 mins, 60 mins.

I don't know about any wait time, I've never had any wait time for when the screensavers on and then after 20 minutes it goes back to the desktop?

Wysiwyg,

The screen saver will stay on until you move the mouse or press a key, when the computer goes to sleep, or when the display is set to turn off. The only way to adjust this that I know of is through the Power Plan settings, but it's only for until sleep or display turns off.

I was looking for a way to extend the time the screensaver show because I have 4 animated screensavers as a slide show, and you don't get the full show with the short display time.

This may just be a property of the animated screensaver set that whoever developed it made settings for that you can't change. :confused:
