Hi!
I've just built a new rig, and installed Vista Home Premium 64-bit OS on it. I can install programs from CD's and start already installed .exe's, but setup files i download from the internet won't work.
I get the following error (In Norwegian, but the order is the same as in English I think):
Hope someone is able to solve the problem, thanks in advance!
Edit: Silly me forgot to search forums, looks like some guy solved the problem by installing SP1. Going to try that first.
Edit 2: Appearantly I had SP1 already, but I installed a lot of updates anyhow. It didn't help though, so I'm still in need of assistance!
Edit 3: I've solved the problem now (more of a workaround really). I installed Firefox from a memory stick and now all downloaded files work properly. IE must have corrupted them or something

I've tried formatting and installing the OS again, but the problem remains.Problemsignatur:
