Odd Bugs

Ever since installing last week's fixes via Windows Update, my PC has been acting up. Every time I boot up, my CD drive opens and my monitor flickers continuously. Every time I unplug or plug in a USB device, it flickers. Every time I put in a CD/DVD, it flickers. Any suggestions?

PS - I also recently changed the L2 cache on my CPU using this tutorial:

(I did put in the correct value)

Uninstall all the updates and see if it goes away. Then reinstall them one by one and check after each one until you find the one giving you the problem. Maybe you'll find the update causing it and maybe we can find a possible solution.

That does not seem to be the problem... Any other suggestions?
